The Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University, is actively enhancing its global collaborations, as evidenced by a recent visit to the School of Mechanical Engineering at Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM). This engagement centered on two primary objectives: the monitoring and evaluation of the student exchange program and the formalization of a new Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) between the two institutions.

The meeting was attended by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdullah Aziz Saad, Dean of the School of Mechanical Engineering at USM, and Dr.Eng. Ir. Irwan Setiawan, S.T., M.T., IPM, representing Hasanuddin University. The discussions focused on evaluating the progress of academic mobility programs and laying the groundwork for future collaborative initiatives.
