The Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) hosted an Interactive Forum on Visa and Stay Permits for International Students on 22 July 2025 at the CoT Meeting Room, 3rd Floor, Gowa Campus.

The session featured Abdi Widodo Subagio, S.Si. from the Immigration Office Class I Special TPI Makassar, and was attended by Prof. Muh. Anshar, ST., M.Sc-Res., Ph.D, representing the Faculty of Engineering.

This interactive forum was designed to provide clarity on the latest immigration policies, administrative procedures, and compliance requirements for international students currently studying at Unhas. Through direct discussion and question–answer engagement, the event enabled participants to strengthen their understanding of visa regulations and improve coordination related to residence permit services on campus.

As Unhas continues to broaden its international partnerships and welcome more students from diverse countries, ensuring a smooth immigration process remains a crucial priority. This activity reflects Unhas’ commitment to building a supportive, inclusive, and globally oriented academic environment. By aligning campus services with national regulatory standards and enhancing communication with immigration authorities, the Faculty of Engineering reinforces its dedication to safeguarding student welfare and strengthening international mobility opportunities. The forum is expected to lead to more efficient administrative assistance, a better study experience for foreign students, and a stronger foundation for future collaborations in global education.
