On 10 July 2025, the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) hosted a visit from Prof. Takayoshi Suzuki, who serves as the Vice-President for International Affairs and Alumni, as well as the Director of the Institute of Global Human Resource Development at Okayama University, Japan. The meeting was convened in the Dean's Room of the Faculty of Engineering at Unhas and was attended by Prof. Dr.Eng. Ir. Muhammad Isran Ramli, S.T., M.T., IPM., AER, along with other academic representatives.

The primary focus of the discussion was to explore potential avenues for international collaboration in the domains of higher education, research, and global human resource development. Both institutions exchanged perspectives on the significance of fostering international partnerships that not only enhance academic excellence but also equip students and scholars to succeed in a globalized context.

This visit signifies a crucial development in enhancing the partnership between Unhas and Okayama University.
