The Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) is actively expanding its international research networks through a newly established collaboration with the Kurume Institute of Technology in Japan. This partnership was formally initiated through a Letter of Intent (LoI), which underscores a commitment to fostering academic exchange and collaborative research endeavors.
Central to this collaboration are the exchange of students and academic staff, as well as the joint development of innovative research projects. Both institutions have agreed to design sustainable academic and scholarly programs that will enrich the scientific community and establish a long-term, mutually beneficial partnership. This cooperation emphasizes academic growth, intercultural understanding, and impactful innovations in civil engineering and related fields. Through this collaboration, Unhas and the Kurume Institute aim to facilitate cross-border knowledge sharing and create new opportunities for researchers and students alike.
This milestone is anticipated to strengthen the academic bridge between Indonesia and Japan, empowering young scholars to contribute to global challenges and solutions.
