On May 29, 2025, the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) hosted a distinguished guest lecture entitled "Introduction to Mechanical Engineering at Unhas and Future Collaborations." The lecture was delivered by Mishima Yuichiro, a lecturer from Saga University in Japan. The event was graciously received by Prof. Dr. Ir. Rustan Tarakka, S.T., M.T., IPM.AER., representing the Department of Mechanical Engineering.

The lecture provided an overview of the scope and advancements in mechanical engineering at Unhas and initiated discussions on prospective collaborative projects between Unhas and Saga University. Participants acquired new insights into potential research directions and academic initiatives for future joint endeavors.
