On 25 August 2025, the Department of Mechanical Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) hosted a distinguished visit from Mr. Sanji Tai, CEO of TAINEXAS Japan. The primary focus of the agenda was to enhance collaboration through the establishment of an Internship Program and Recruitment Opportunities for final-year students and graduates of Mechanical Engineering.

Accompanied by Dr. Muhammad Syahid, ST., MT., the discussions facilitated the creation of new avenues for students to acquire international industrial exposure, thereby equipping them for prospective careers in Japan's advanced engineering sector.
