The Department of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering within the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Hasanuddin (Unhas) formally inaugurated the Huayou Top Talent Scholarship Program on 7 July 2025. The event was graced by the presence of Mr. Cao Tengfei, Director of the General Affairs Management Center of Huayou Indonesia, alongside Dr. Hairul Arsyad, ST., MT., representing Unhas.

This scholarship initiative, established in collaboration with Huayou International Mining (Hong Kong) Limited, aims to support exceptional students in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering, offering them opportunities to enhance their academic excellence and industry preparedness.

The partnership exemplifies Unhas' ongoing commitment to enhancing international collaboration and ensuring that its students have access to global opportunities in the domains of mining, metallurgy, and materials science.
